About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and live comfortably.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as reading, watching TV, or going for walks.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help with light household chores, such as cleaning and laundry.
- Prepare meals and snacks for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
- Accompany clients on outings, such as shopping or visiting friends and family.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and communicate effectively with clients, family members, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training. However, previous care experience is an advantage.
- You must have a full driver's license and reliable transportation for various duties.
- You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
- You must have a caring and friendly disposition to create lasting relationships with our clients.
