The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with teachers and other professionals in our partner schools, providing tailored educational activities and support to students with SEND.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of educational activities for students with SEND, working closely with teachers and other professionals.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students, implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of teachers and special educators.
- Support the social and emotional development of students, assisting with classroom management and behaviour support.
- Prepare and organise learning materials and resources, monitoring and recording student progress and reporting to teachers.
- Support students during school activities, outings, and events, collaborating with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to support student needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
