Senior Principal, Deeptech and Healthtech Investment Fund

Our client is a leading asset manager with a strong presence in the UK market. They are seeking an experienced investment professional to join their team and contribute to the success of their deeptech and healthtech investment fund.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of investing in related sectors, with a strong understanding of the UK university ecosystem and its potential for innovation. They will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing direct investments, as well as project managing key workstreams in the diligence and execution phase.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring direct investments, including board representation and internal reporting, as required. They will contribute industry expertise to relevant investment opportunities and provide oversight and development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate direct investment opportunities in deeptech and healthtech sectors
- Project manage key workstreams in the diligence and execution phase of investments
- Monitor direct investments and provide board representation and internal reporting as required
- Contribute industry expertise to relevant investment opportunities
- Oversight and development of junior team members
Requirements
- Proven track record of investing in deeptech and healthtech sectors
- Strong understanding of the UK university ecosystem and its potential for innovation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
