Our client is a leading asset manager with a strong presence in the UK market. They are seeking an experienced investor to join their team and contribute to the success of their new fund, which focuses on investing in deeptech and healthtech startups. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of investing in related sectors and a deep understanding of the UK University ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities in deeptech and healthtech startups
- Project manage key workstreams in the diligence and execution phase of investments
- Monitor and report on direct investments, including board representation as required
- Contribute industry expertise to relevant investment opportunities and strategic projects
- Oversight and development of junior team members
Requirements
- Successful track record of investing in deeptech and healthtech sectors at Series A-C
- Previous experience in investment banking or other relevant industries is desirable
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior colleagues and management teams
- Healthcare and deeptech sector expertise across multiple sub-sectors
- Some board experience is required
