About the Role

As a Learning and Development Specialist at Transputec, you will play a crucial role in shaping the skills and knowledge of our employees. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze the training needs of our staff, advising on the selection of initial and continuous training programs. You will work closely with our employees to assess their needs and develop individually tailored training plans. Your work will be based on a thorough analysis of training needs, resulting in concrete and detailed plans that align with the company's short and long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute comprehensive learning plans and programs that cater to the diverse needs of our employees.
  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
  • Implement various learning methods company-wide, including coaching, job-shadowing, and online training.
  • Assess the success of development plans and provide feedback to employees to help them make the most of learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with managers to develop their team members through career pathing and succession planning.
  • Coordinate activities related to virtual instructor-led, in-person, and blended learning interventions.
  • Manage e-learning platforms and ensure seamless integration with our existing training programs.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the leadership team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an L&D Professional, training specialist, or similar role.
  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods, including adult learning theory and instructional design.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices, including learning management systems and online course development.
  • Experience in project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with a strong understanding of spreadsheet software and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • BSc/BA in Business, Psychology, Teaching, or any related field would be an asset.
