**Job Description:** Marine Equipment Specialist

**Estimated Salary:** $90,000 - $120,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Equipment Specialist to join our team at Hawboldt. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for conceptualizing solutions for custom marine equipment and working with internal stakeholders to determine the equipment/concept to be quoted.

**Responsibilities:**

  1. Read and evaluate customer inquiry specifications and applications
  2. Determine the equipment/concept to be quoted with internal stakeholders
  3. Perform required calculations, market research, supply chain investigation
  4. Estimate the total cost for the product, liaising with engineering, production, and vendors

**Requirements:**

  • Post-secondary education in engineering, business, or equivalent work experience
  • 2 – 3 years of experience estimating/inside sales in a manufacturing environment, with a mechanical aptitude
  • Proven sense of urgency in completing tasks
