Job Title: Mechanical Equipment Maintenance Specialist

A leading international mechanical and electrical sub-contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join their team in the UK. As a key member of the site-based maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment on-site.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with relevant qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Previous experience in mechanical maintenance or installation roles, preferably in a site or industrial environment, is also essential. Additionally, you should have experience with specific equipment or systems relevant to the industry, such as HVAC and plumbing.

Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment on-site.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently, utilizing technical knowledge and tools.
* Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
* Work closely with other site technicians, engineers, and contractors to coordinate tasks and optimize workflow.
* Prepare and submit detailed reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and potential improvements to management.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
