Job Description:

The Art Department Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for internal inquiries related to artists and their studio teams. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory databases to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information
  • Coordinate sales packs for exhibitions and events
  • Communicate with Sales team regarding exhibition details, pricing, and artwork availability
  • Draft offer letters and précis for incoming artworks
  • Prepare weekly exhibition sales reports for Directors
  • Liaise with Accounts to review artist statements and flag queries

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or related field

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
