About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and creative Advanced Painting Tutor to join our Visual Arts Department at City Lit. The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of 'Advanced painting: practice and discourse', a thriving course that focuses on contemporary practices and debates in painting.

The role involves coordinating, supervising and supporting a small team of practicing artist-tutors in delivering the course, which consists of weekend workshops, online sessions and guest lectures. You will also provide one-to-one mentoring and pastoral support to students on both years of this course, as well as carrying out necessary administrative and quality assurance procedures relevant to the course, and teaching on the programme as necessary.
