Business Development Representative

About Motorway:
Motorway is a leading online used car marketplace in the UK, connecting private car sellers with thousands of verified dealers nationwide. Our technology-led approach has redefined the experience of selling a car, generating thousands of monthly car sales and helping us grow to a team of over 400 people across our London and Brighton offices.
About the Role:
This is a B2B outbound sales role, focusing on adoption across dealerships to Motorway's products. You will explain the benefits and upsell opportunities for our partners, building relationships with people at all levels of businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive adoption and engagement with dealerships
- Sell Motorway's product stack
- Build rapport and relationships with dealerships
- Manage a portfolio of accounts
- Build a pipeline of dealers to engage
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure prompt service to buyers and sellers
- Support multiple business projects
Requirements:
- Sales experience in an outbound role
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A great telephone manner and ability to engage with various types of buyers
- A proactive and self-motivating team player
- A can-do attitude
