RPS Group Job Opportunity:
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Lift Engineering Consultant to join our progressive business and service clients across South London and Manchester. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to further your career through delivering high-quality engineering solutions and designs for projects that exceed client expectations.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, reviewing contractor proposals, and attending pre-start meetings. You will also manage projects, including new lift and escalator installation projects, account management, and accident investigation.
Job Responsibilities- Designing and developing lift engineering solutions
- Reviewing and commenting on risk assessments and method statements
- Attending pre-start meetings and managing project progress
- Account management and lift contract management
- Accident investigation and witness testing
- Health and safety site audits and lift maintenance audits
- Traffic analysis and calculations
- Specification development
- Fault troubleshooting and LOLER examinations
- Procurement exercises
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong technical background in lift engineering, preferably with a NVQ3 or NVQ4 qualification. You will also have experience working on projects creating specifications and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You should be analytical, with strong attention to detail, and able to make decisions and drive innovation. As a team player, you will be comfortable working autonomously and be motivated to deliver high-quality results.

In addition to a competitive salary, you can expect a minimum estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
