We are seeking a skilled Lift Engineer to join our Lift Modernisation / Major Repairs team, covering the Liverpool / Manchester / Warrington area.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for the lifts industry and experience in service or installation. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and carrying out lift repairs to the highest standards on site.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety rules and guidelines from a site and company perspective.
  • Working with various schematic diagrams, drawings, and installation manuals.
  • Filling out relevant documentation and submitting it in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with customers in a polite and professional manner.
  • Being responsible for 3rd party items involved in the project, such as hired equipment, containers, skips, and tool kits.
  • Being open to undertaking 3rd party training and site training for working in specialist environments.
  • Having good problem-solving skills and being able to seek help and guidance to resolve issues successfully.

To qualify for this role, we expect the candidate to have:

  • NVQ3 in Lift Engineering.
  • Experience working with lifts.
  • Strong customer skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Excellent health and safety knowledge.
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to try to do the work to the best of their ability.
  • A desire to develop their skillset in Lift engineering to potentially become NVQ4 qualified tester/technician.
