Lift Engineer Specialist

Lift Engineer Opportunity
RPS Group is seeking an experienced Lift Engineer to join our team and provide consultancy services in the locations of South London and Manchester. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.
About the Role
The Lift Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing and commenting on Risk Assessments and Method Statements, attending pre-start meetings, and managing projects including new lift and escalator installation, account management and lift contract management. The ideal candidate will have a NVQ3 or NVQ4 Lift Engineering qualification and previous experience in Lift Engineering Consultancy or Project Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and reviewing lift systems
- Reviewing and commenting on Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Attending pre-start meetings and managing projects
- Account management and lift contract management
- Accident investigation and witness testing
- Health and safety site audits and lift maintenance audits
- Traffic analysis and calculations
- Specification and procurement exercises
- Regular reporting and trouble shooting
Requirements
- NVQ3 or NVQ4 Lift Engineering qualification
- Previous experience in Lift Engineering Consultancy or Project Management
- Strong technical background and excellent communication skills
- Ability to make decisions and work autonomously
- Comfortable with innovation and a team player
