Lead Consultant in Haematology at Triple West Medical

The position of Lead Consultant in Haematology has become available at Triple West Medical, a leading healthcare provider in North West England. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated haematologist to join our team on either a substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis.

This is a replacement post for a Consultant to join a team of 3 WTE Consultant Haematologists (2 substantive NHS Consultants and 1 locum Consultant). The successful candidate will be expected to possess extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of clinical and laboratory haematology.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes in haematology.
  2. Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff members.
  3. Participate in education and training programs for medical students and foundation year doctors.
  4. Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to trust policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Primary Medical Degree
  • FRCPath (or equivalent qualification)
  • Registered with the General Medicine Council (with a license to practice)
  • Specialist registration with the General Medical Council (or eligible for specialist registration within six months of interview)
  • Holder of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or within six months of award of CCT by date of interview

Salary:£120,000 - £170,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
