Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team as a Hospital Ward Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the hospital ward and its staff, providing clinical leadership and driving clinical excellence in all aspects of care received by patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the hospital ward and its staff, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team, promoting high standards of care and patient safety.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing Studies.
  • Valid NMC Registration.
  • Experience working in an acute healthcare sector in a Senior Registered Nurse post or equivalent.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
