About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our close-knit team at Brynmawr Medical Practice. As an autonomous practitioner, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and treatment to patients with long-term conditions or undiagnosed undifferentiated diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, manage, prescribe, and discharge patients with illness or injury across all age groups
  • Work autonomously, making decisions and taking responsibility for patient care
  • Collaborate with GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, and Nurses to provide comprehensive care
  • Manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting
  • Ensure the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients
Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Masters degree or Postgraduate diploma or degree for Advanced Practice Qualification or RCN accreditation Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber
  • Meets the standards for registered ANP working at advanced level Minor illness qualification
