The Role

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our team at one of our residential care homes. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents, providing them with the care and support they need to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in developing and implementing individualised care plans
  • Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities
  • Administer medication as required
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • A background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
