Private Patient Services Data and Finance Support Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data and Finance Support Specialist to join our Private Patient Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the finance and data collection function of the service.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Collate information required to raise invoices for private patient services, including inpatient, outpatient, and imaging services.
  2. Work with various functions to interrogate systems and capture private work undertaken, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to insurers, patients, and suppliers.
  3. Set up new private patients on Integra and capture, collate, and quality assure data relating to the service for finance and operational reports.
  4. Support the finance administrator in ensuring effective processes are followed to meet financial and activity reporting requirements.
About the Role

This is a non-clinical role based on site with some flexibility to work from home as agreed within Trust flexible working policies.

Requirements
  1. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
  2. English language and math to GCSE level or above.
  3. Experience of working in an administrative role within a busy environment, with good working knowledge of NHS invoicing systems.
  4. Good working knowledge of Trust patient administration systems, private patient finance, and private health insurance processes.
