Nurse Care Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Care Manager to join our team at a leading care home in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. As a Nurse Care Manager, you will be responsible for driving and running the unit alongside clinical duties, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for observing, administering medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team.
- Accountable for ensuring policies and standards meet our high clinical standards and providing clinical guidance to the care team.
- Forge a real connection with our residents and their families, providing kindness, support, and care.
- Take responsibility for the well-being of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Coach and guide the team, providing formal and informal teaching programs for colleagues and other care professionals.
- Carry out assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each resident.
- Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Ability to lead a team of care staff.
- Passionate about delivering great care and supporting residents and their families.
- A team player who engages well with others.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Awareness and understanding of the CI/CQQ/RQIA National Care Standards.
- Demonstrate an understanding and application of relevant legislation in relation to the role.
- Able to deliver nursing care in a clinical environment.
