Salary
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This rate is inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. Please note that this is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.

Job Description
As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored support to deaf students, both 1-1 and in small groups, to facilitate their learning and development. You will collaborate with teaching staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching materials as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Previous experience working with students with hearing impairments, although not essential;
  • A relevant qualification in Special Education or a related field, advantageous;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
