Role Overview: The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for the assembly and testing of valve and actuator systems, ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards before they are dispatched.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and conduct tests on manual and actuated valve systems (Electric, Hydraulic/Pneumatic).
  • Ensure that all assemblies comply with industry standards, customer specifications, and project timelines.
  • Interpret engineering instructions, technical drawings, and instrument diagrams accurately.
  • Operate basic manual machinery, such as lathes and drills, for engineering tasks.
  • Maintain thorough documentation related to functionality, testing, and compliance with standards.
  • Follow safety policies and guidelines diligently.
  • Perform various tasks based on training, including receiving inspections, wiring, mechanical and pressure testing, product kitting, packing for delivery, and loading finished products.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other sites as required, with all expenses covered.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanically qualified with relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with valve pressure testing processes.
  • Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of actuators and their applications.
  • Commitment to safety in the workplace.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
