Futures, a leading global business, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing valve packages, ensuring they meet industry specifications and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and test manual and actuated valve packages (Electric, Hydraulic/Pneumatic) to ensure they meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Interpret and follow engineering instructions, drawings, and instrument diagrams to ensure accurate assembly and testing.
- Operate manual machinery, such as lathes and drills, for basic engineering tasks.
- Prepare and maintain documentation supporting functionality, testing, and standards.
- Adhere to safety policies, guidelines, and training to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform a range of tasks, including receiving inspections, wiring, mechanical and pressure testing, kitting products for builds, packing for delivery, and loading finished items.
- Mechanically qualified with experience in valve pressure testing.
- Able to work from drawings and have knowledge of actuators.
- Strong team worker with good communication skills.
