Futures is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and testing manual and actuated valve packages, ensuring they meet industry specifications and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and test valve packages, including electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Interpret and follow engineering instructions, drawings, and instrument diagrams.
- Operate manual machinery, such as lathes and drills, for basic engineering tasks.
- Prepare and maintain documentation supporting functionality, testing, and standards.
- Adhere to safety policies, guidelines, and training.
- Perform a range of tasks, including receiving inspections, wiring, mechanical and pressure testing, kitting products for builds, packing for delivery, and loading finished items.
- Mechanically qualified.
- Understanding or experience of valve pressure testing.
- Able to work from drawings.
- Knowledge of actuators.
- Works safely.
- Team worker.
- Good communication skills.
