Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Futures is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and testing manual and actuated valve packages, ensuring they meet industry specifications and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test valve packages, including electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Interpret and follow engineering instructions, drawings, and instrument diagrams.
  • Operate manual machinery, such as lathes and drills, for basic engineering tasks.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation supporting functionality, testing, and standards.
  • Adhere to safety policies, guidelines, and training.
  • Perform a range of tasks, including receiving inspections, wiring, mechanical and pressure testing, kitting products for builds, packing for delivery, and loading finished items.
Requirements:
  • Mechanically qualified.
  • Understanding or experience of valve pressure testing.
  • Able to work from drawings.
  • Knowledge of actuators.
  • Works safely.
  • Team worker.
  • Good communication skills.
