Job Title: Consultant Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Healthcare Specialist to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality inpatient and outpatient services in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, working closely with our existing team of 16 substantive Gastroenterology Consultants.

The post-holder will participate in the Gastroenterology Consultant on-call, including out-of-hours GI bleed on-call, and support the delivery of weekend endoscopy lists as necessary.

Main Duties
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
  • Participate in the Gastroenterology Consultant on-call
  • Support the delivery of weekend endoscopy lists
  • Work closely with the existing team of Gastroenterology Consultants
Requirements
  • Established foundation in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy
  • Expertise in supporting and developing a forward-thinking service
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
