Baywater Healthcare – Enhancing Lives

Baywater healthcare is seeking a compassionate and community-driven individual to join our team as a Respiratory Technician. As a valued member of our team, you will provide support and reassurance to oxygen therapy users and their families, while also installing and maintaining respiratory equipment in line with a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the NHS.

About the Role:

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing a comprehensive level of service to patients in their homes. As a warm and empathetic individual, you will be able to build strong relationships with patients and their families, while also maintaining a professional approach to your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and reassurance to oxygen therapy users and their families
  • Install and maintain respiratory equipment in line with a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the NHS
  • Manage day-to-day workload, offering a professional service to patients
  • Operate and maintain safe working practices in accordance with company and statutory requirements
  • Participate in an 'On Call Rota' (approx. 4-5 nights per month)
  • Respond to Ad Hoc requests from the Healthcare Helpline to deliver a service in addition to your daily route
  • Maintain high standards of driving proficiency at all times in company vehicles
  • Follow good housekeeping practices in the regional depots and company vehicles
  • Maintain safe practices when loading and unloading equipment into the vehicle(s)
  • Maintain upkeep of your company vehicle

What You Will Receive:

Competitive salary including guaranteed on-call payments of £40/night (with an average of 46 nights per annum)
