We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team at World Horse Welfare in Snetterton, Norfolk. As an HR Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Human Resources in the management of our HR function. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with our staff and enhance employee communication channels while fostering a positive workplace culture.
About the RoleAs an HR Officer, you will be responsible for administering payroll, providing vital HR support, and championing initiatives that promote employee engagement and well-being within our charity. You will have a minimum of 2 days in our head office in Snetterton and a maximum of 3 days at home.
- Provide administrative support regarding job descriptions, staff appraisals, and employment contracts.
- Manage recruitment advertising, candidate correspondence, and interview arrangements.
- Conduct necessary checks to ensure prospective staff have the right to work in the UK.
You will have proven experience as an HR Administrator or HR Officer, a solid understanding of payroll processes and employment legislation, and strong organisational and communication skills with an approachable demeanour. The ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and maintain confidentiality is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
