Role Overview

The Junior Charge Nurse plays a vital role in leading a team of nurses and support staff to provide high-quality patient-focused care. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the operational management of the clinic, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and implement processes to drive quality improvements initiatives through the clinic.
  • Onboard new teammates effectively, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Establish strong relationships with patients, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports, ensuring compliance with relevant clinical, governance, and regulatory systems.

Person Specification:

  • Registered Nurse with renal experience.
  • Previous clinical leadership experience in an outpatient haemodialysis setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse teams and patients.
  • A lead-by-example approach, encouraging a value-driven culture that brings out the best in everyone.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, adapting to changing situations in a clinical environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, managing multiple tasks associated with running a clinic.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development, ideally in Renal Care.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A comprehensive Company Pension Scheme.
  • 35 days' paid leave per annum, including bank holidays.
  • A Monday to Saturday working pattern, with day shifts only.
