Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing sales and purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Handle bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
  • Support the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties, providing timely and accurate financial information
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Run cashflow forecasts, analyzing and interpreting financial data to inform business decisions
  • Communicate with clients and vendors regarding financial transactions, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless interactions
  • Perform various administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and scheduling appointments, ensuring a high level of organization and productivity

Requirements:

  • At least 3 – 4 years of experience within a similar Accounts / Finance Assistant role, with a strong understanding of financial operations and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, preferably Sage, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
