Cyber Intelligence Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Researcher to join our Cyber Collections team at MI5. As a Security Researcher, you will play a critical role in developing capabilities to collect cyber intelligence from computers and devices that are critical to MI5's ability to safeguard the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of various applications and operating systems used by the subjects of our intelligence investigations.
- Search for new vulnerabilities within target operating systems and applications, and work up exploits to other vulnerabilities found within the community.
- Research and develop novel techniques to avoid detection, and assist with the general development of our on-device collection capabilities.
- Assist with the onboarding of new capabilities or techniques, and contribute to the ongoing development of our security research capabilities.
You will have a solid background in security research or reverse engineering, and bring extensive knowledge of a specific operating system's internals. You will also be an adept problem solver, comfortable with managing uncertainty and risk, and able to work constructively in a team environment.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary, ranging from £48,928 to £61,732, depending on your skills and experience.
