Job Title: Lead Engineer - Autonomous Vehicle Systems

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Engineer to join our Vehicle Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical direction and mentorship to a team of engineers responsible for the build and maintenance of autonomous vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring the successful integration of autonomous vehicle systems.
  • System Integration: Oversee the integration of various hardware and software components into the autonomous vehicle platform, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
  • Vehicle Build and Support: Lead the team in the physical construction of autonomous vehicles, including mechanical, electrical, and sensor system installations.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to autonomous vehicle systems, ensuring vehicles are maintained in optimal condition.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the build and support process, enhancing efficiency, reliability, and safety.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all autonomous vehicles meet rigorous safety standards and comply with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the autonomous vehicle, robotics industry, or Motorsport with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle hardware and software systems, including sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing guidance and support while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
