About the Opportunity:

The Emerald Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Life Actuary to join our Life Consulting team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions to our clients and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Life actuarial consulting propositions that meet client needs and drive business growth.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and preferences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technology solutions that solve client problems and improve efficiency.
  • Nurture client relationships across North EMEA and Bermuda, leveraging existing connections to drive business opportunities.
  • Lead the development of internal networks to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Nearly qualified life actuary (10+ exam passes).
  • Experience in other life actuarial consulting firms or life insurance actuarial departments.
  • Coding skills – typically evidenced through actuarial modeling in solutions such as Prophet, MoSes/RiskAgility FM.

Salary Range: £95,000 - £115,000 per annum, depending on experience.
