The estimated salary for this role is around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll for all employees.
  • Processing updates to the payroll including joiners, leavers, salary changes etc.
  • Working closely with the People Team to ensure payroll records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Handling payroll-related queries from employees.
  • Ensuring contractor invoices are accurately reconciled to timesheets.
  • Reviewing and verifying employee expense claims, ensuring these are processed accurately and in accordance with company policy.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a passionate team player with the following qualifications:

  • Experience of working in a payroll function or similar role.
  • Ability to manage personal workload, as well as an excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to clearly articulate a message to a range of stakeholders in the business.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle changing workload priorities.
  • Experience working with payroll software (Sage Payroll preferred).
