About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Busy Bees Nurseries. As a key member of our nursery management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of childcare and education are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of nursery practitioners to deliver high-quality childcare and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Develop and implement effective observation, assessment, and planning strategies to meet the needs of individual children.
  • Work closely with the nursery management team to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery and the delivery of our company's vision and values.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the nursery remains a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager, or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
