About the RoleAs a Senior Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the team, role modelling best practice, and ensuring every individual child's needs are met. You will also be responsible for observing, assessing, and planning for your key children, providing developmentally challenging next steps, and supporting the staff team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the nursery team, ensuring high standards of childcare and education are maintained.
- Develop and implement effective observation, assessment, and planning strategies for key children.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to the staff team to ensure they are equipped to meet the needs of children.
- Work closely with the nursery management team to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the nursery remains compliant with regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification and have previous experience as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager, or Senior Nursery Practitioner. You will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with children and staff.
