Job Overview:
John Charles Search is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in managing financial and administrative functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

About the Role:

As an Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting external audits. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise, working on various projects and initiatives that align with our company goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounting books and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax obligations.
- Monitor treasury activities and prepare forecasts, providing insightful analysis to inform business decisions.
- Reconcile financial statements, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
- Process supplier payments and manage billing efficiently, maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
- Oversee client collections, prioritizing communication and negotiation skills to achieve successful outcomes.
- Handle monthly and annual accounting closings, meeting deadlines and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Prepare financial reports for internal review, providing actionable insights to drive business growth.
- Support external audits by providing required information, demonstrating professionalism and discretion under pressure.

Requirements:
- Analytical, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset, with high proficiency in Excel and financial analysis.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines, while maintaining a collaborative approach and excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively, managing competing demands and multiple projects simultaneously.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in similar roles, preferably with a degree in Accounting/Finance or full AAT qualification.
- Experience with SAP FI and CO modules is highly desirable, as is demonstrated discretion and professionalism under pressure.

Salary and Benefits:
