Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to patients, ensuring their needs are met and their safety is maintained.
  • Hold delegated responsibility for managing the ward on a shift basis, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Contribute to the supervision and development of junior staff, promoting a culture of learning and growth.
  • Ensure the safety of the ward and unit environments, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health nursing certificate (RMN) or Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD)
  • Experience of working in a mental health setting, either paid employment or placement
  • Ability to work without direct supervision, assessing and prioritizing patient needs
