About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have significant post-qualification experience along with ACCA/CIMA qualifications. You will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, ensuring correct cost allocation, analysing scheme profitability, and reporting WIP and other balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior management to drive effective decision-making
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Analyse scheme profitability and cost variances, including reconciliations of salaries, fleet, and material costs
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Support in producing the contract cash forecast and manage actual performance against budget/forecast

Requirements:

  • Significant post-qualification experience along with ACCA/CIMA qualifications
  • Extensive experience in business forecasting and modelling
  • Highly developed communication skills to form working relationships with operations and commercial colleagues
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for data manipulation and financial modelling
