Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Forecast and Analytics Manager to join our team at Smart DCC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced forecasting and analytics solutions to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement multiple forecasting approaches to predict uncertain events and develop systems for both short-term and long-term forecasts.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities through scenario analysis and provide variance analysis of key metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain forecasting models and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in statistical and analytical methods, including scripting languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in forecasting and analytics to continuously improve our processes and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in demand forecasting, modeling, data analysis, and statistics, with a proven track record of using statistical and analytical methods to produce models and forecasts.
  • Strong experience in 'what if' analysis and running scenarios, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with business functions.
  • Experience with large volume data analysis, interpretation of results, and production of summaries and recommendations.
  • Proactive mindset, with a willingness to challenge and help identify continuous improvement ideas and techniques.
