We're looking for individuals from diverse backgrounds to join our team at Southern Water. Successful candidates may have experience in various industries, including customer service, logistics, or manufacturing.
Your skills and experience are valuable assets to our company. You'll have the opportunity to earn a competitive initial salary package, starting at £26,567.00. Our team members have progressed to management roles, including Field Performance Manager positions, and some have pursued Process Science careers.
As a Process Operator at our STC in Canterbury, you'll work in a fast-paced environment, performing a range of tasks to ensure the water treatment process operates efficiently and effectively. You'll be responsible for
- Compliance testing and chemical deliveries
- Monitoring and reporting data to ensure regulatory compliance
- Fault finding and problem-solving to respond to breakdowns
- Site hygiene and maintenance
You'll work outdoors in various weather conditions and be part of a team that delivers excellent performance. We're looking for adaptable, flexible, patient, reliable, and self-motivated individuals who are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science
- Valid UK Driver's Licence
