Job Title: Financial Management lead

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year in London.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced team leader to join our Data Inventories and Integration team. As a team leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of technical specialists and data engineers who work on metadata products.

Your primary objective will be to develop and implement effective data governance practices that ensure the quality and consistency of our data inventories.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product, to promote metadata best practices and identify areas for improvement.

In this role, you will also be responsible for collaborating with strategic partners on large-scale programs that have enterprise-wide influence.

Responsibilities

As a team leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing data governance practices to ensure data quality and consistency
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote metadata best practices and identify areas for improvement
  • Working with strategic partners on large-scale programs that have enterprise-wide influence
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a strong understanding of data governance and data management principles
  • experience working with databases (SQL, NoSQL, graph, etc.) and programming languages such as Python
  • excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment
  • exposure to metadata systems, data modeling, semantic technologies, linked data, and/or knowledge graphs

We also value industry certifications, such as those related to data governance and management, and relevant project management certifications like PMP.
