Senior Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at The London Clinic.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the control and movement of all invoices in circulation, carrying out timely payment runs, and monitoring accounting procedures. They will also be responsible for the monthly reconciliation of main supplier statements and managing the AP Mailbox in the Manager's absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in controlling the movement of all invoices in circulation.
- Carry out timely payment runs to meet deadlines agreed with the Accounts Payable Manager.
- Monitor all accounting procedures and control working closely with local management and administration staff.
- Assist in the monthly reconciliation of main supplier statements.
- Manage the AP Mailbox in the Manager's absence.
Requirements
- Previous experience with a computerised accounting system.
- Previous administration experience within an accounting environment.
- Computer literacy.
- Numerical strength.
- A neat and methodical approach to clerical tasks.
