We are seeking an experienced Care Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality personal care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including washing, dressing, bathing, and feeding.
  • Talk to and motivate residents, helping them maintain contact with family and community.
  • Assist with shopping and organizing group social activities.
  • Contribute to creating a supportive and homely atmosphere where residents can achieve maximum independence.
  • Cooperate with domestic staff to meet the personal needs of residents.
  • Escorting residents outside the establishment as required.
  • Attending relevant training courses as agreed with management staff.
  • Acting in a supervisory capacity with students and volunteers.
  • Assisting with laundry duties and care of residents' items.
  • Caring for the dying and attending to the needs of the deceased person and their relatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience or ability to demonstrate competence in providing personal care and support.
  • Possession of relevant certificates of competence or equivalent where applicable.
  • Ability to work without close supervision.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
