Network Services Engineer – Unified Communications Engineer

York- Hybrid - 2 days a week onsite

We are seeking a skilled Network Services Engineer to join our team at Investigo. As a Unified Communications Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering customer-facing Unified Network based services, including Unified Communications, Telephony, Mobile Services, and Video Conferencing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the UC network strategy, including network design and roadmap.
  • Ensure day-to-day operational performance of the UC network meets agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Implement changes to the UC network to meet ongoing business demands.
  • Deliver continuous service improvement and emergency response to critical incidents.
  • Design and implement cloud-based telephony systems, including Ring Central and 8x8.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP and concepts, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
  • Experience of running network security and proven technical experience of local area networks, internet services, telephone systems, call centre services, mobile services, video conferencing, and other hardware and software.
  • Experience of working with third-party providers of network services and delivering unified communications solution delivery and support.
  • Delivering/supporting fixed line and NGN/VGN services, mobile technology (hardware and services), and video conferencing solution architecture and delivery.
  • Experience of delivering rapid deployment connectivity solutions into challenging geographical locations and running an MDM solution.
  • Technical knowledge of customer network systems and both on-premise and cloud Windows environments.
