Education Support Worker for Lancaster Region

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our primary school team in Lancaster. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance and experience working with primary-aged children.
Responsibilities:
- Support class teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons.
- Lead small group interventions, including literacy, numeracy, and SEN support.
- Work closely with individual pupils to support their specific educational needs.
- Monitor and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
- Support the delivery of creative and inclusive activities across the curriculum.
- Foster a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children.
- Supervise pupils during break times, lunchtime, and school trips.
Requirements:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance (or equivalent).
- Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
- Show a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
