We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Taco Bell. Key Responsibilities- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that all customers receive a positive experience, executing the Manager-In-Charge (MIC) Success Routine and completing responsibilities under People, Customers, and Service.
- Team Management: Ensure that all Team Members complete their Shift Excellence tasks for their assigned position(s), and personally demonstrate a customer-centric approach.
- Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders are maintained, and resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Work with urgency, cooperate with peers, and demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers.
- Attendance and Punctuality: Understand posted work schedules, report to work on time, and provide appropriate notice when unable to be at work.
- Initiative and Energy: Take action without being told, go beyond what is simply required, and maintain a high activity level.
- Developing People: Provide regular feedback to the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) on the performance of Team Members, and actively participate in the training of Team Members.
- Act Like an Owner Assist: Assist the RGM with facility maintenance, ensure health and safety standards are followed, and perform other duties as required by the manager.
- Strong preference for internal promotion from Hourly Champion position.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Background checks are run on all management employees.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Able to do basic business math.
- Able to stock shelves and coolers.
- Able to oversee and manage subordinate employees and provide direction.
- Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, and lift and carry out trash containers and place in an outside bin.
- Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
- Able to tolerate walking and lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing during 90% of shift time.
