About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide perinatal psychiatric care to the Solihull area, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide perinatal psychiatric care to the Solihull area, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with other agencies, including maternity services, health visitors, and GPs, to provide timely and appropriate information sharing.
  • Support the development of our perinatal mental health service, working closely with our clinical lead and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the training and education of our staff, including medical students and junior doctors.
  • Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives, working to improve patient outcomes and services.
