Hygiene Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager to lead our hygiene operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance in our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and implement significant change and improvement in cleaning efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 100 hygiene staff to ensure company hygiene standards are adhered to.
- Develop and implement hygiene procedures to meet BRC and retailer audit standards.
- Liaise with the Production, Quality, and Technical Departments to ensure Continued Safety and Hygiene within the environment.
- Ensure the Hygiene Team works in a safe manner, adhering to COSHH Regulations and Health & Safety protocols.
- Oversee cleaning schedules and manage chemical usage to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Continuously improve HR through risk assessments, audits, and root cause analysis for hygiene non-conformities.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and developments, driving innovation within the hygiene function.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum 3 years' experience as Hygiene Manager in a food manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing large teams, driving high-performance standards.
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, and other food safety management systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- IOSH or NEBOSH desirable but not essential.
- Proactive in hygiene, identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
