Caretaker Job Vacancy - Apply Now

Aspire Recruitment is seeking a skilled caretaker to join our team and help maintain the safety and high standards of our school facilities.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in maintenance or a related field and be familiar with health and safety procedures and protocols. Excellent communication and time management skills are essential, as well as physical fitness and basic IT literacy.

We offer a competitive salary of £12.50 per hour, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time employees), and a supportive and inclusive working environment. The position is based in the Cheadle area, with free car parking available on site.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and condition of school premises.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and students.
  • Assist with setting up events and activities within the school.
  • Perform general repairs and decoration work as required.
  • Support health and safety compliance.
  • Manage the car park during busy periods.
  • Liaise with external contractors.
