Learning Support Assistant Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 learning support to children, primarily in small groups, while also working with teaching staff to enhance their understanding and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the wellbeing and educational progress of children
• Liaise with teaching staff to ensure understanding and progress
• Plan and prepare resources for sessions as required
• Deliver 1:1 or small group support within the classroom
• Maintain school resources in good order

Requirements
• Patience, adaptability, and a 'can-do' attitude
• Understanding of ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other specific learning difficulties
• Excellent inter-personal and organisational skills
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
