About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatology Specialty Doctor to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Dermatology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients with a wide range of inflammatory skin conditions and skin cancers.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and participate in the co-ordination of care for patients within our hospitals.
  • Assume a continuous commitment to the care of patients, ensuring adequate arrangements are made for leave and off-duty periods.
  • Promote high professional standards of clinical care for patients, both through direct patient care and by maintaining continuing professional development.
  • Develop and maintain links with General Practitioners operating in the area, as well as contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
About Our Team

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust comprises Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley District Hospital, with easy transit and regular shuttle buses. Our Dermatology department is well-equipped with consulting suites, treatment rooms, and diagnostic facilities, providing a comprehensive service to the local population.

Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice.
  • MBBS or equivalent.
  • Wide experience in dermatology.
  • Commitment to attending Clinical Supervisor Training Course within the first 6 months of starting the post.
